The weather here has changed quickly and so has the land. Now purple and yellow flowers appear and everyone is about their business preparing the land, digging, clearing, planting. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When ever I see an old building or stone wall, I often wonder whose hands moved this stones into place? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“There is a language to nature and we have lost the ability to translate it” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you take daily walks? What do you notice? I pass this everyday and am always curious to know its history? What was it used for? Did someone once live there? Why was it abandoned? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
SO yesterday the winter came back with full strength. It’s rained all day. However there was a bonus to all that rain, it meant that the streams and waterfall near the house were full to busting. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yep the tussle between Winter and Spring is in full swing here. Have you ever noticed that at this time of year little promises of spring appear - the weather warms, snowdrops appear. Ah snowdrops, I’ve missed you this year. There are no snowdrops here, but there are some tiny yellow flowers appearing. Then, winter decides it has not yet finished and it is time for an encore.... today we have howling wind and torrential rain.
