I arrive at a choice of direction I am uncertain the way I should go I seek out wise council. Who might be sure to know? The setting sun smiles with knowing glints. Surely it can be my guide! Do I mingle with the green woods? And in ancient oak trees hide? Perhaps lofty snow capped mountains Would allow my mind to rest? I could gaze with the eye of an eagle Awaiting its next conquest. But I may desire the ocean, And retreat with the tide. I might carry my heart over water, A wild, wave guided ride. Whatever the way does it matter? The choice that I make is my own Contentment a travelling companion The land around me becoming my home.
