I easily control my life.
A simple button to press things on and off
The TV
The computer
The lights
Sensors control my heating and the house is warmed at my command.
The microwave controls the cooking of my food to perfection!
But, not the wind.
The Internet gives me control.
I can find what I want
Instantly
Book flights
Check accounts
Order food and goods
Have them delivered to my door
At my convenience
But I must wait for the wind.
Predicated, but unpredictable.
I am in control of my life.
I determine my steps.
Where I walk or drive is up to me!
But, I must learn the wind’s patterns,
So I may fill my sail and make way.
The wind is a roaring wild lion
A fluttering butterfly,
A moaning, insister,
A welcome reliever.
The wind is in control,
And I must yield.

  1. Hi Deborah, what a wonderful picture! Especially the second mast from the left side ist really admirable! 🙂 How are you? Is everything all right with you both and yout boat? So, we are now at work again: Getting up each day at 5 a.m. is horrible to me. But we are looking forward to the end of september: then we plan to be in Augustenborg again for a few days! Dear greetings, Judith and Uli
