We first found Andromeda of Arisaig back in October 2017. At the end of May 2018, we got to sail her for the first time as her new owners. It was a lot harder than I anticipated and I realise we have a lot to learn. Our biggest challenge is how she handles in a marina, where there is not a lot of space to manoeuvre. Andromeda is not a lady for turning in small spaces especially when the wind is against her. However with the help and advice of a new boating friend, we think we have come up with a strategy to tackle the fun of parking… mooring her. We just need lots of practise. Unfortunately, on one of the occasions we did leave the marina, Chris twisted his foot quite badly on one of the ropes, so we will have to wait for later in the summer, when we have the time to get back and sail again.
