Who knows the way I should go,
The way my feet should now turn?
Retreat with the ebbing tide
And take my soul out to sea?
The waves may gently whisper
Dark tales of the unknown depths.
My mind desires rocky crags
My body the cool mountain breeze
Could I mingle with pine forests
Sharing fables with the eagles?
Or travel over burning sands
To lose myself in the desert.
Could I cross vast wide open plains
Towards the distant sunset
and expand my fixed horizon?
A desire burns in my heart.
Adventure it’s rally call.
