With fatherly protecting of deep green trees,
And touching welcome mountain breeze.
Shielded from the heat of the summer sun,
And guided by the butterflies’ fun.
I take my small inquisitive feet,
To a silent woodland seat.
To contemplate life’s big questions,
In this peaceful chapel reflection
I sit and think and ponder, then
Refreshed, I skip them home again.
Last summer while I was visiting Mr Day in hospital. On his daily walk he found a chapel up in the woods above Klosterneuburg. It was a special place with an unbelievable atmosphere. You can see how I felt about here
